Our Wedding

We met online in late 2022 and quickly discovered how easy it felt to talk, laugh, and dream together. What started as a simple message turned into something that felt meant to be. In the summer of 2024, during a beautiful trip to Hawaii, we got engaged surrounded by ocean views and sunshine.We love life and adventuring together—whether it’s exploring new places, trying something spontaneous, or checking off another bucket list dream. We’ve already crossed off several and can’t wait to do even more side by side. While we plan to elope and exchange vows privately, we can’t imagine this new chapter without celebrating with our friends and family. We’re so excited to share the joy, laughter, and love of our journey with all of you!

Located in downtown Detroit, this hotel is located on the RiverWalk and next to the Hart Plaza. It features stunning views of the Detroit River and Canada. Rooms at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center have a 49" flat-screen TV with plug-in technology, a tea/coffee maker and a seating area. Volt Restaurant, located on the property, offers dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The modern on-site gym offers cardiovascular equipment and free weights. Parking: Park in Beaubien Garage, which offers in-and-out privileges to hotel guests for a flat rate of $25 per day and can be charged to guestrooms. Valet parking is also available for $30 daily/$40 overnight. 3.&nbsp;Check-In: Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. For contactless arrival, we suggest Mobile Check-In and Mobile Key through the Marriott Bonvoy app if you’re a Bonvoy member. 4.&nbsp;Food &amp; Beverage: The hotel restaurant and bar, Fuell, is currently open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have the Motor City Pantry open daily from 6:00 AM – midnight, which offers grab-and-go options. Illy Cafe is currently open daily from 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM. 5. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to arrival. Please note that they will assess a one-night fee if you cancel after the deadline.
